Im confused should i get this phone or the Samsung Jack?
you should never be charged for connecting to wifi. wifi is an internet connection like 3g, if you buy a phone with 3g you’re paying for the 3g connection. connecting to a wifi connection is free just like it is free to connect to wifi on a pc.
Is it possible to use WiFi (and not be charged ;-)) without opting for a data plan??

don’t buy the at&t version, many of the features are locked from the crappy network software, spend the money! buy the unlocked version!!

Spend the extra money and get an unlocked E71. Then get the $15 data plan from At&t. Spend the extra money on the hardware, not the data plan.

you also paid around 500 dollars for it… if it was even 200 USD i would buy it but it’s not
