Personally I won’t buy Nokia before they announce Linux communicator. Symbian is too restrictive.

why don’t you just pass on the 5800 and just wait till you get a couple hundred dollars more and buy this?

nahh .. you can always check that on other video.. this is more about philosophy and engineers being sexual about their designs. There is so much competition out there and its only these quirks that might make you decide on one phone over the other.

the only problem with the N97 is, that it was made for many people, to make it affordable, likeable by the biggest bunch of people. and i think this is why they haven’t put in any special, more expensive parts like a proper useable processor which is clocked at 600MHz or more, 8megapix cam, with 720p video rec, etc.. It will definitely be a great device, but i like to own something that does just that little bit more than anyone else’s phone, which is why i decided to go for the Samsung Omnia HD.

Not a bad advert, great for you Nokia fans, but why go on about the hinge?
Personally I’m waiting for the SE Idou, thinner design, however I suspect the N97 could possibly trounce the Palm Pre on the basis of it’s keyboard and software support?
