What do you mean Iphone look alikes? All/most touch screen phones had the same shape. The layout on apple’s menu screen is the same as pretty much every other phone, wether it is touchscreen or not. Apple didn’t revolutionize shit.
The only thing the deserve credit for is speed, AND THE SHIT INSIDE AN APPLE IPHONE AND IPOD ISN’T EVEN MANUFACTURED BY APPLE, THATS WHY THEY OWE SAMSUNG (I THINK) AND TOSHIBA (DEFINATELY) MONEY.

I like the idea of those little gadgets in N97 but OS feels bulky after seeing how it looks and works on iPhone. N97 is more like workstation for active persons with much things to tweak up while iPhone is more like simple multimediaphone with many many funky options and touchscreen is still one of the best on the market… I have had N-gage for 6 years now (lol, I know) and I’m thinking of trying 3GS now for few years.
and i forgot… iphone had millions of apps. you can fing apps for everything you want

if you see he has to press 10 times till nokia n97 notice he is doing that.. the iphone is more efficient.
the only one this i see better in N97 is the widgets in the menu.. hope iphone had this…
Im an N95 user and am saving up money for the N97, but I really doubt the Ovi will become bigger than the App store.

It had Mosh b4 that with was basicly all apps for free but Pirating with that was as easy as Dling game for free from that app.
Nokia has Correction its just not as easy to turn on as in iPhone but it is there

And another thing I wanted to mention: You said that I’m probably an Apple addicted person and I’m not.First of all in my country to buy an Apple product is very expensive(for your knowledge I live in Eastern Europe in Romania.Romania is the only country from the former comunist block besides Russia who has a NOKIA factory.)And yes,I am looking forward to buy the new iPhone 3GS when it will appear here around 31th of July.Thats not making me an Apple addicted.Maybe I would be if i had the money.

Iphone is better
remember the touch version of symbian is still a new thing. so when they iron out the bugs it will only get better. plus symbian is still the easiest to program for so thats why theres more 3rd party apps available for it.

But not as good as the Iphone has to offer, plus multi touch is far more accurate. Remember there were MP3 players before Ipods but Ipod changed the industry. Now most good portable music devices are high capacity and they try to imitate the Ipod’s easy to use controls.
they may have made touchscreens mainstrem but thats it. remember there were touchphones with full screens well before the iphone came out
but theres more apps available for symbian phones and my year old nokia can do more than the iphone. the iphone just cant compete with my phone.
Stop hating on Iphone, Apple revolutionized the phone. Now most good smart phones are iphone look a likes. They all have screens that fill the entire phone. Sure Nokia added some good stuff to this phone not seen on the iphone. Just like there’s a Saints for a Grand Theft Auto game.
dirtygore you just can’t compare the apple store and the OS 3.0 from the iPhone to that old and ugly Symbian.We entered in a new phone era,Nokia might have been the best cell phone company but it was 10 years ago.they have bad touch screen phones.Apple is years ahead from Nokia when it comes to touch screen devices.Keep that in mind!
