Dunno, what about HTC Hero? Don’t know how it works though but apple has copyrights, just google it. However do not know if they have copyright on the whole concept or just their way of doing it, but they did sue some company a while back that used multi touch capabilites on their device and i doubt they used apples own technology..

Actually, yes. Apple have copyright/patent on multi touch…

First off: Capacitive multitouch is worse for accurate stylus positioning. There are a lot of linux apps that will run on this if you have the accuracy of a stylus.

Second off: A physical keyboard is faster than touchscreen. It also doesn’t get in the way of what you want displayed on the screen.

Oh i forgot.. why spin the finger when you maximise and minimize?… the 2 finger tecnique is the best, most accurate and fastest

All the mobile brands are releasing tons of touch phones but they cant never compare to the iphone.. i hate apple but i must say that apple has done it with iphone, nothing can beat the screen sensitivity and the speed on it. They have done 2 models of it and its enough.. its time for all the other brands too come with a new thinking.

I doubt it would do much good to point out the irony of you calling me dumb with 3 nearly incomprehensible “sentences”, so I’ll move on.

Still what exactly is “dumb” about me pointing out that the laptop in this video IS a Mac and not a Nokia Booklet 3G? I fail to see how that is worthy of a lame attempt at ridicule.

having that many apps open and never closing them would RAPE the battery

The idea of 20 apps open with 0 performance degradation is fantastic, however looking at the videos of this device, they all show obvious lag and stutter. I hope they smooth out the transitions and compositing before release. Seems unlikely in 1.5 months though…

They’re showing new features, but don’t let them load fully since they know they’re selling crap.
I haven’t heard any music playing and even the modified photo of the cameraman wasn’t fineshed before they went away.

Will this run linux programs without porting, like for example the ePSXe linux version?

apple doesn’t have a netbook lol. just because nokia used silver and black it doesn’t mean they copied the macbook. this is like saying television companies copies each other because all tv now are glossy black piano. what about the Toshiba satellite that too had black and silver so did apple copy it ? get real man

There’s a difference between “grammatical errors” and intentionally typing like a mental patient.

In other words, “Yes I’m OCD.” It’s certainly your right to type the way you like, just don’t expect to be taken too seriously.

Fair point about use with drawing programs. However, I sincerely doubt that most people who purchase this phone are interested in drawing. (Also, it’s great for Asians using handwriting recognition.) Otherwise, it’s just clinging to the past in my opinion.
