It’s really not that much smaller. If you look in this video when they are side by side the mini is a little bit further back - look at the shadow. I still want one, I don’t think Nokia has been dishonest, but I’m not sure if you can really call it a mini, difference is like 1cm

I think that for a diff. of appx $150, the above differences makes it worth to buy a regular N97 !

only difference with n97 and n97mini is qwerty keybord (arrows) 3.5″, 3.2″ touchscreen, 32GB on n97, 8 GB on mini , camera cover, battery cover and colour

I was a massive nokia user, never and couldn’t use any other brands than nokia. but then the iPhone came out and it was breathtaking. Okay, camera sucked at the time, and no 3G. But it was really another experience. I loved it. I know nokia had 3g since a lot time back, but it didn’t make it nice/friendly/practical to use it. No one can argue that the iPhone has the best interface. I think Apple is challenging well. It’s gd 4 d market. 30m iPhones to date in 2.5 yrs is awesome for a new comer.
