But then I get to do something bitchy with T-Mobile customer support like tell them how to do their job. So fun!

So how about this, I use my phone for internet… if I am having a problem with my phone not connecting how do I look up the answer? Most of the time I just convince the T-Mobile representative to reset my internet connection and the problem is solved. With data devices on American carriers it is almost always a must to have support due to their different data plans.

Nvm, I just found out on another video that it’s made in Korea.. :/

You could ALWAYS look the problem on the internet.. which will not just save you time, but 99% of the time (if not 100%) you will find a solution for it or a work-around… And not having to worry about being on the phone with a person that has no idea what he/she is talking about.. which happens almost everytime..

Good.. I don’t think Nokia wants people like you.. Go use a dumb phone like the iCrap.

I am wondering.. Is this the NAM version? And if it is.. Can you please tell me where it’s made from? For some reason all the NAM version of Nokia phones are made everywhere (usually china) other than Finland.. But when I buy a middle-eastern version or a european version 99% of the time it’s made in Finland.. That’s the main reason why I buy the european version always.. I really want to know before I preorder one so if you (Nokia Conversations) can tell me I’ll greatly appreciate it.. :)

Only if an 850/1900Mhz 3.5G band debuts THEN I’ll get it. 1 manufacturer using Maemo 5 and only 1 carrier is VERY limiting for enticing developers beyond the open-source community. Fear not, Nokia should have another RX model soon enough for the rest of us.

I would buy it if you could use it also in portrait mode. And can you even get any applications in it? I rather buy Android, because I know getting applications is really easy.

Ummm…shouldn’t this be a hands-on video instead of watching a video on the device telling us how to use it?

That being said, I can’t wait to get my hands on one. This is a great Nokia product. Forget N97.

I know, it’s just… I just assume that buying an unlocked device would only lead to confusion whenever the event arises. Let’s say, for example, I am having a problem with data. If I don’t feel like geeking out and going all technical I would call them, upon getting through to a tech I would say, “hey, I have a N97″ and then he/she would say, “sorry sir, we don’t support that phone.” I would get frustrated and take my it out on someone undeserving. So, carrier support simplifies it all.

I’m with you 100%. Pairing Nokia’s smartphones w/ T-Mobile saves a lot more money for net access than using a subpar BlackBerry or iPhone w/ the mandatory PDA fees. I bought an N82 w/o ‘carrier support’. It’s not too hard to configure these devices.

T-Mobile USA, please, please, PLEASE, don’t let me down. I hope, for your sake, this phone is to be included in the fabled, Project Dark. If so, I am there all they way. I don’t care if this is 549.00 with subsidy, I will buyt this phone in a heartbeat. I have been waiting for Nokia to make a comeback in the US and, hopefully, this is it. I am more than elated to have this device in my hands. Yes, Carrier Subsidy is a must for me, seeing as how I need support on a purchase.
