HTC Aria Review at brighthand!

HTC Aria from AT&T“The display on the HTC Aria is bright and vibrant, and even looks good outside. MobiTV looks great, with sharp images. I didn’t see any ghosting or pixelization issues during my testing, and I’m very pleased with the display overall.
It is significantly smaller than some of the other recent smartphones out there, so there is a some more scrolling involved in reading long emails or viewing web pages, but I didn’t find it to be annoying or frustrating. I did find myself using the device in landscape mode much of the time, but that could just be a personal preference — I prefer a widescreen view most of the time.
The Aria doesn’t have a physical keyboard. The virtual keyboard is well laid out, but it can be somewhat difficult to use since the screen on this device is relatively small.
I’ve found during my testing that the virtual keyboard works far better in landscape mode, which has the added bonus of allowing me to keep a better grip on the phone. I can use the keyboard in portrait mode, of course, and if I do I find that it is easier to use one thumb than to try and use two in “power texting” mode as I might on a larger device.” Read more here:

Samsung’s 1st Win Phone 7 Handset is Cetus!!

Sony PSP Maps and GPS Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget ReviewAs Windows Phone 7 draws ever nearer to launch day the leaks surrounding it are starting to mount. It wasn’t long ago that we saw HTC’s Win Phone 7 handset codenames leaked and today it’s the turn of Samsung to see one of their upcoming Win Phone 7 devices make an appearance on the interwebs. The device, named Cetus, presumably after the constellation and not the ancient Greek terror of the seas, will be running Microsoft’s latest OS and will sport such features as a 5 MP camera, GPS and a front facing camera. The screen will be an OLED effort and weigh in at a very respectable 4 inches. Obviously there is no word on things like pricing or release dates as yet, although the handset will apparently receive the catchy title SGH-i917 in the U.S. What it will be called and when it will be released anywhere else is up for debate.” via mobile-review.com
