I’ve been wanting this phone for a long time now ( well 2 months ) and I’m still thinking of getting it.
It seems a real gem of a phone but while doing my research I find out that around 1 in every 4 N900’s has a technical problem / bug that makes the phone reboot itself at random times and this happens on a constant basis.
Type “why does my nokia n900 keep rebooting” into google and go onto links that show users of the N900 who have this problem.
I really wanted this phone aswell.

Yeah, silly thing is that I knew that so I have no idea why I said it was for the battery cover. Just caught in the moment I guess!

You did figure out that the little button is the “lock screen” switch, not “open battery cover” or “release battery” switch, right?
It’s just a terminal emulator, you can use the standard hyperterminal in Windows to do it if you want to.
1:18 What are you using to connect? Com4? Comport? Comfort? I’d like to check out that software. :/
