FPD: Samsung, LG show flexible OLED, e-paper displays

CHIBA, JAPAN — Samsung Electronics and LG Display have developed prototype flexible displays that can be gently bent while continuing to show images. The displays are the latest in a line of research projects from major display makers that point to growing interest in screens that can be bent, curved or flexed.

@DJVM95 Probably not. But it is in the very early stages, so you might be better off not /trying/ to break it:p It’s prolly gonna cost a shitload of money at first, and you don’t want to intentionally screw it up. The warranty is /definitely/ not gonna cover “it broke because i bent it too hard”:p

Yes people, lets stop the evolution of /everything/ until we find a cure for cancer…. Retards… Without progress of technology, we’d still be stuck tending to illnesses with leaves and mud. Today, it’s a new bendable screen being developed. Tomorrow, a version of said screen might be used on medical tools to improve them, and maybe those tools will help find the cure for cancer.

@knetterrrr Solving the “energy” problem is easy - and it will solve the coming fresh water shortage and food shortage too all in one shot….. reduce the population. (naturally, through restricting the birth rate, the rest will tend to itself)

This rock simply can not support 6.5 billion that well, it won’t support very much more than that at all.
