i have the lg optimus S i dont wanna dis my phone but im suprised that this is the best the battery life is i guess good but if you have the light all the way it dies so fast.this phone is so slow well maybe because im a heavy texter but it lags a lot and sometimes doesnt send the message and i have to turn it off and on at times because it doesnt get service until its back on and the most annoying and most occurring problem is that the screen thinks im touching it when its not and it goes crazy

Should I get the LG Optimus S, or the HTC Hero?

@dxxxdxxxx If you are a texter, git the transform. The optimus s does not have a actual keyboard, only virtual.
