Apple iOS 4.1 to possibly launch September 8

According to Apple’s UK website yesterday, its new operating system, iOS 4.1, is set to debut this coming Wednesday, September 8. iOS 4.1 is the first major update to iOS 4 and is expected to add a host of new features, including HD video uploading, HDR photography, and Game Center, a multi-player system. The software update is also expected to fix numerous bugs found in Apple’s iOS 4 operating system, including the proximity sensor and Bluetooth. Apple has since updated its web page to say “Coming Soon” regarding the iOS 4.1 software update.
